DAY 12 (5/15/24): Billings & Livingston
There is not really much to Billings...even the host at the winery said there is not much to do here. I had us staying another night at a brewery, but decided to cancel and move on. We did a quick stop at The Rimrocks, which has beautiful views of the city and rimrocks...Luke was pretty bored...
We headed out to Bozeman, and discovered there are many more interesting smaller towns as you drive west. We happened upon Livingston, which appears to be a launching point to Yellowstone. I would really love to come back here someday!
Luke made a gallery friend.
We have seen a lot of Lewis & Clark markers, etc. along this trip:
I was able to find a last minute accommodation through Harvest Host at a church in nearby Belgrade - SHIFT Church. Forgot to mention that we cooked the Fuller Farms Brats (Mango Jalepeno) when we were in Keystone. We packed the the leftovers and ate it again tonight while watched the Seinfeld's Netflix movie "Unfrosted" - pretty hilarious, esp. if you grew up in the 60's & 70's!
GOOD NIGHT!
