2026 - Seattle (Jake is in Another Play!)
Jacob was asked to audition for another play - this one an original first run, called "Li" - after one of the producers saw him in the Laramie Project . He got the part, and we took my mom to go see him in it (unfortunately Sian could not make it since she is trying to minimize travel during her last few months of pregnancy). Barry & I flew out first so that we could get together with Sandy & John for dinner. I'm feeling very behind on a lot of things, so it was nice to have a day at the hotel to catch up a bit. We were able to have lunch with Jake & Dia that day as well. We picked up sandwiches from Fortuna , a small Italian deli near their place...they give you a bread sample while you wait...OMG! So good!!!!! Later that day we drove down to Redmond where met John & Sandy at a cool little Japanese Izakaya place called Supa Banana . On our way down, Barry captured a photo of these protestors as well as this sign about "ice"...! Alway...
