Day 67 - 68 (7/9 - 7/10): Cousins in Spokane!

I have been blessed to have many first cousins.  There are six of us that are particularly close on my dad's side because of his (my dad's) close relationship with his sisters who also immigrated to the US (and also sadly suffered from Alzheimers/Dementia).  We saw John (and Mary) in Mosier, OR...and now we are visiting David (and Valerie) in Spokane, WA...we arrived to appetizers, steak dinner, and homemade dessert!!!!

They have an amazing house on 3 acres in the woods, complete with artist studio and fruit/vegetable garden (that we enjoyed veggies from).

They treated us to amazing meals, including breakfast at Frank's Diner...a Spokane institution 👍

I forgot to mention that Luke got a "fresh cut" in Seattle before we left.  My friend Sandy was kind enough to recommend her groomer to us - it worked out great - and we got to catch up with San for coffee while we waited!

Our drive to Spokane was also beautiful...parts along the Columbia River...

GOOD NIGHT!

Miles driven: 304 (Seattle - Spokane)
